This year National Mental Health Counseling Week will be observed May 3-11, 2010. This national event helps increase Mental Health Awareness and recognition for AMHCA, your state chapter, and the Mental Health Counseling Profession as a whole. Our most important activity this year is the distribution of the 2 surveys we have created to collect information from counselors and clients so we can assess how we are doing as a profession. We encourage you to email the following blurb to distribute the surveys your state members and encourage them to distribute this survey.
